A man who went missing from Long Island has now been found, according to police. 

Matthew Blaurock, age 21, had last been seen on the morning of Thursday, Sept. 29 in Wantagh, Nassau County Police had reported. 

On Friday, Sept. 29, officials announced that Blaurock had been located.

Police are asking for the community’s assistance in locating a 21-year-old who has gone missing.

Matthew Blaurock was last seen at approximately 8:40 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29 in Wantagh, the Nassau County Police said.

The 21-year-old is 5-foot-10 and weighs approximately 150 pounds.

Blaurock has a shaved head, hazel eyes, and a goatee. A description of his clothes at the time of his disappearance was not provided.

Detectives urged anyone with information regarding Blaurock’s whereabouts to contact the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or to call 911.
